Chair yoga is a gentle and relaxing form of exercise, designed for all ages and levels of mobility and fitness. In these sessions we focus on breathwork, seated yoga and relaxation. Perfect for those needing a little calm in their lives.
After having a quiet catch up with you all, I open the class with some gentle breathing techniques to help us settle into our body before we begin our practice. I will be at the front of the class demonstrating the movements so you are all able to see what to do. There is no pressure to be able to achieve certain movements, it is all about listening to your body and finding what is available for you at the time. On occasion I may include foam blocks or bands to help make certain poses easier to achieve.
‘Chair Yoga and Mindfulness’ is based in Kenilworth and involves half an hour of Chair Yoga and half an hour of Mindfulness techniques.
‘Chair Yoga and Chat’ groups are based in Blenz cafe in Whitnash on Fridays, and Cafe 81 in Whitnash on Mondays. They consist of half an hours chair yoga and half an hour of a cuppa and a chat! (Please note, refreshments are not included in the price).
